      Howdy!
There’s no right or wrong answer here. Scientific research relies on all different kinds of experiments so that we can acquire as much information as possible to figure out the best way to treat disorders like blindness. Vision research needs all different kinds of scientists to work in different areas to allow us to reach a common goal, just like one big happy family!! 🙂

      Hi!

      Emma’s completely right 🙂
There are many different kinds of experiments. Emma probably does more traditional lab experiments, and I tend to work more with trying to push the boundaries of technology forward . Our experiments might take the same kind of form: trying to plan out ways of seeing what approaches work and which ones don’t using a scientific approach to developing the methods – in other words being careful about how we run our tests, record our results, and try to understand the numbers!!
