      Different germs like different things. Some germs live happily in hot volcanoes but would die at 20 degrees. Some germs like acid, like in your stomach but this is deadly to other germs.

      The germs that make you sick generally like a temperature similar to body temperature.

      Each germ is different and all have their ideal growing conditions 🙂

      I agree with Elaine. For what we most commonly think of as germs, warmth (body temperature) and a rich source of food help them to grow fast!
