      Hi

It IS tiring sometimes, just like any job when you have lots of deadlines on the go. But it feels rewarding too, which some jobs aren’t.

Yes I do have free time for myself. 🙂

I think lots of people who are scientists really enjoy what they do (and they kind of have to, because it is often hard work!). I do make time for myself, and make sure that I keep up some hobbies. But because science is the thing I like most, I’m also doing something I enjoy when I am working. 🙂

      Hi there!
I try to stick to working a normal working week of Monday-Friday (9am-5pm), like most other jobs, so that I make sure I have plenty of free time. This isn’t always possible though and sometimes I have to stay in the lab a bit later at night or at weekends, depending on what experiments I have to do. I enjoy my job so I don’t mind working later sometimes! The joys of science! 🙂
