• Question: Is it possible for the human brain to fabricate its own dreams based on visual images and sounds and create it into a virtual world where the human mind treats it as the human world although it is in a parallel dream world? long but I'm curious about it.

Interesting idea, I’ve no clue! It could be possible but I’ve no idea how you’d test for it?

Our bodies typically cycle between wake and sleep in a specific pattern due to our circadian rhythms. Our dreams are can be based on our recent experiences (and part of what our brain does during sleep is to consolidate, or make stronger, our new memories). Whether we feel like our dreams are reality is more a question about consciousness- when we are awake, our consciousness reflects our inner experiences as well as the information coming in from the outside world. When we are asleep, any conscious experiences we have are more driven by our inner experiences. As far as I know, it is difficult to control our dreams… but maybe possible? Interesting question!

      Hi there!
Wow! What a great question, my brain hurts just thinking about it! I have to be honest and say that I have absolutely no idea! 🙂
