      Hey Olivia!
I started off doing science at uni first and then I fancied a career change and studied Beauty Therapy at college. I really enjoyed it and worked in a beauty salon and a make up counter for a couple of years but I started to get a wee bit bored of doing the same thing day in day out, even though I loved chatting to customers! That’s when I decided to go back to science but I kept a part time job at the make up counter while I was at uni. I’ve always enjoyed doing both things but for me personally, I think that being a scientist is a better long term career. I still sit and do my nails in the lab though (shhh don’t tell anyone!) 🙂
