      Hi Molly!
We’re making pretty good progress with our research at the moment! My experiments so far have shown that if we inject our stem cells into an eye where the blood vessels have been lost or damaged then the cells will come together to make tubes and form new blood vessels. The cells will also move into damaged blood vessels to repair any holes and stop the blood vessels from leaking. This is very important as people with Diabetes can develop problems with leaky blood vessels in their eyes in later life. We are confident that in the next couple of years or so that these cells can go to clinical trial and get used on patients with vision problems, so keep your fingers crossed for us Molly! I hope this answers your question 🙂
      Emma
