When I was living in the USA, I went to Copenhagen Denmark to visit a group of researchers there. They had developed a computational model of attention that I was very intrigued by. Scientists also get to travel to go to conferences all over the world!

      Hi Molly!
I’ve never worked abroad but I’ve been to lots of great places to attend scientific conferences and present my research. Last month I went to a big vision conference in Orlando, Florida! It was great fun and I really enjoyed it! The only bad thing was that it was a wee bit too hot for me, I’m not good in the sun! 🙂

I’ve never worked abroad but I do visit other countries quite a bit to see other scientists and go to meetings. I work with lots of people who have spent time working abroad though, and I work with people from other countries who are spending time here in the UK. It’s a good career choice if you like the idea of travelling around!
