  Different cultures (historically) have had different definitions of colour. For instance, a group of people from New Guinea only have 5 basic colors (we have more: red, orange, yellow, blue, green, black, white, etc.). So a new colour would be unlikely, unless we really had a need for a new color division. But if we find one, I think we should call it blump. 🙂
